At least all the backlogged paperwork is finished. The acid rain for good for something. Though despite the world of good it did for paperwork, there is still a lot of damage we have to help repair, especially in the far out areas. Between coordinating teams to go out and help the other workers, paperwork, training and general house keeping of the division there hasn't been much time for anything, regardless of what Matsumoto says.

It's been a fair while since the last entry. I took the latest recruits on an extend training trip into a remote area, leaving Matsumoto to handle things here. The trip went fairly well, considering their lack of survival skills. We had a few pranksters within the group who decided it would be funny to take all the female 'essentials' and hide them in bushes and trees. Needless to say, there was a stand off between the two that only ended with the threat of confiscated food and an early start to having to live on whatever native fruits and berries that were available within the area.

Hyourinmaru took several small groups of sen'yuu for specialised training. Whatever he did certainly whipped them into shape for when they returned, they were a lot more subdued and focused on their own training. Not one of them will speak of their training.

That being said, there is a few odd pieces of work to do before we leave, which makes me wonder where Matsumoto hid the paperwork this time.....

It is late.... closing in on 2am.

Someone remind me to kill that vice-captain of mine! I wouldn't care as much if she had a legitimate excuse... BUT DRINKING SAKE FROM 9 IN THE MORNING AND THEN PASSING OUT STONE COLD DOES NOT CLASS AS A LEGITIMATE EXCUSE!!!!

However, that is not the main point of this entry.

One of the main objectives is the dramatic increase in the recruit trainings. Their ability has shot up since the last threat... it is also part of what has been keeping me away from writing such entries more often. Needless to say, despite the time spent away from the office and leaving Matsumoto to do the paperwork, it was a wise decision to personally oversee their progress.

On the other hand, the ever increasing sightings have kept me insanely busy. I've had to make more than one trip to the First Division HQ and go through the library with a fine tooth comb to find any sort of strategies in dealing with them.


Completely unrelated, the kids are apparently acting up. I think it's time to pay them a long over due visit.

Paperwork.

Whoever invented it was sadistic. It seems that no matter how much I do, the pile still seems to grow. But then again, with a lieutenant who is never around to help out, it's not surprising. *sigh*

However, tomorrow is the beginning of the kids' new classes and I promised I'd go. They're such sweet children that no body seems to want to love. It saddens me, it truly does. I suppose I can identify with them and that's why I keep going back. I think if I didn't come back they'd hunt me down and demand for me to come back... that and Hyourinmaru loves them as much as they love him.

But if  this paper work isn't done, the children will be waiting all day.
